Sochi segment production plant

With high speed for Olympia 2014.

The XXII. Winter Olympics will take place from the 7th till the 23rd of February in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi with 330.000 inhabitants. These will be the first Olympics in the subtropical coastal city and the second Olympics in the biggest country of the world in terms of area after the Summer Olympics of 1980 in Moscow. Thus, the Russian government strongly invests in the development of public transport infrastructure. By 2014 a combined railroad and highway will be built between the Black Sea and the skiing region in the Caucasus Mountains. On the distance of 48 km in total, six of the 12 tunnels are mechanically excavated.
