The geology and alignment of each tunnel project are different. The diameters we bore vary from around 2.5 m to 15 m. Straight tubes require a different segment design from curved tunnels. The condition of the invert and the purpose for which the tunnel is to be used place individual demands on the type of installation (e.g. bolting and gasket profile). Each tunnel requires its own specific ring sectioning and geometry

This includes the diameter, planned performance rate, etc. The decision on whether to use a conventional, hexagonal or trapezoidal ring, together with the optimal sectioning, requires a great deal of experience and fine judgment.
