Segment moulds have to be capable of accurately shaping thousands of concrete segments weighing several tonnes. The moulds are used several times daily, seven days weekly for several months at a time and are subject to high temperature fluctuations and stresses. What at the first glance looks like an oversized baking tin, conceals sophisticated technology and the ultimate in precision. The steel moulds are required to be extremely dimensionally stable and easy to operate – right through to the last segment.

The finishing touch.

To ensure that our moulds are up to these high requirements, our designers refine the design and our engineers refine the production process and installation of the mould. The result is perfectly shaped segments, accurate to tenths of a millimeter and in continuous production to the last ring.
